Irrital Bowel Syndrome

Bladder infections or Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) is something I used to have a
lot of problems with. What has helped me may help you, but you've probably
heard of some of these....
1. Drink lots of water each day
2. When I feel a possible infection coming on....I then add Cranberry
juice to my choices of beverages. Not Cranberry-Apple or the other
mixes....just straight cranberry juice.
3. I wear cotton panties.
4. I make sure I void before and after having sex.
5. I don't use any bath oils in my bath water.....I have to be careful
of what I can use in the tub. Eventually you'll figure out what works for
you. Right now I can tolerate bath salts, but I don't take but 1 or 2 baths
a month because baths do seem to expose me to an infection.
6. I wipe the 'correct' way. I don't think I need to spell this one
out, but let me know if I do. ha!
7. When I'm having a bout of Irrital Bowel Syndrome then I'm EXTREMELY
careful about not getting a bladder or UTI. I wipe myself with baby wipes
and really keep my urinary tract area as clean as possible. And I begin to
drink even more water to keep myself hydrated and I start on the cranberry
juice.

All this is a hassel at times, but it really seems to work well for me.
